Why do I like faux plants for my desktop?

I love to decorate my desktop and other areas of my home with faux plants because it’s so very easy to maintain them as I have mentioned before. They do not wilt or lose their appearance. They are super easy to keep and look absolutely pretty. Faux plants and flowers give me the freedom to decorate my home anyway I like as opposed to natural plants and flowers that have special needs and are to be kept in maintained environments. I don’t have to worry about the seasons changing and can keep winter flowers in summers and vice versa. Faux plants can be super affordable and can adjust in every space without any hassle.

Some of my favorite suggestions for Faux plants and flowers to place around your desktop and workspace.

Although you are free to keep whichever plants you like, I have some useful options for you that I love for myself and look super perfect.

Hydrangea

Hydrangea has 70 to 75 species with the greatest diversity in Asian countries like China, Japan, and Korea. They are cute small and circular flowers with intricate shapes, structures and pretty colors. I personally love them for their appearance and keep them on my desktop and workstation. They add beauty and appealing effects to my workspace with their super cute colors. There are so many varieties in the Faux category as compared to fresh ones (in the US). You can keep them anywhere or any room.

I especially love the bright red color of this hydrangea to energize any place it is kept and brighten up the mood with it’s bold red color.

This baby blue and light green color clears you of negative thoughts and helps you freshen your mind. Decorated in a beautiful modern glass vase, it would be the prettiest decorative item on your desktop.

Roses

If it ain’t roses, it’s none of the other flowers. A beautiful red (or pink or black) rose would look lovely on your desktop. Roses are very common in home decoration and they would go perfectly with other flowers too. With different colors of faux roses, you get different options. You can choose based on your preference or the color palette of the surroundings. For example, my favorite is the combination of black and white roses on the desktop of my living area. They compliment my walls with their mysterious and pure untainted colors. You can also use bright red and green colors, the everlasting combination. It would energize you with the red and calm you with the green.

Succulents

Succulents have thick, small and fleshy leaves. They make up simple and cutest decorative items with their tiny leaves decorated in circular fashion. The pattern is so unique and each succulent has alternating tones of two colors where leaves are darker at edges and light in the middle. It just mesmerizes me with the beauty of nature. It would be super awesome at your desktop while in the home office or study room or in the living area.

Greenery for your Desktop

Flowers are certainly promising but so are green plants. If you are going for more muted shades in your surroundings with less colorful appearance you can always choose green faux plants for your desktop. For example, zen style decor follows an ultra-minimalist approach with earthy color so green would make up for a perfect desktop partner. Or in modern decor with its refined profile.

Combination of various flowers

Hydrangeas, Roses and Silk flowers alone work well but I do like to mix things a little and create a pretty combination of colors to keep in my home. I love the different splashes of colors here and there to create an exquisite color palette. With different colors, I also love mixed varieties of flowers wrapped up in a bunch with lovely arrangements. Using faux flowers I can have a combination of those flowers that actually cannot be kept together due to their different seasonal availability and maintenance conditions. This following unique combination has my heart. The Red, golden, and olive combination is just surreal.
